About

Between Dance and Pilates

An Ongoing Practice

My name is Eddy. I am a French professional dancer, ballet teacher, and Pilates instructor, now based in New York City, where I have been running Mindful Pilates NYC since 2019.

My journey began in France, where I trained at highly respected dance schools and earned a Bachelor of Arts from the National School of Dance in Marseille. I went on to perform with prestigious French companies and choreographers across Europe. After my time as a soloist with Kamea Dance Company, I relocated to New York City, where the next chapter of my professional life unfolded.

Pilates has been a constant presence throughout my dance career, but it was in New York that my relationship with the method truly deepened. What began as a way to support my own body became an essential tool for recovery, resilience, and long-term physical intelligence.

Through personal experience, Pilates revealed its capacity to restore balance, strength, and functional movement, particularly during periods of injury and rehabilitation. Witnessing how precisely and efficiently the body can heal through intelligent movement profoundly shaped my approach.

My training includes comprehensive Balanced Body education, along with years of mentorship and collaboration with master instructors in Manhattan. Over time, I developed a refined, integrated approach that extends beyond traditional Pilates and incorporates physiotherapeutic principles to support rehabilitation, injury prevention, and performance.

Since opening my studio in 2019, I have had the privilege of working with a wide range of clients, from dancers and athletes to individuals recovering from injury, managing osteoporosis, or simply seeking to move and live better. My work is personal, precise, and grounded in respect for each body’s history and potential.

My goal is simple: to help you feel stronger, more balanced, and more at ease in your body for the long term.
